Coaching Philosophy and Mission Statement
Soccer is an exciting and wonderful game that can help all players develop
important skills for life. First and foremost, high school
athletics is an
extension of high school academics. Therefore, the purpose of athletics in
secondary education is to provide the student with experiences which develop
character, values, discipline and teamwork. In addition, it is the purpose
of this
program to provide students with the fundamental skills and an
understanding of the tactics in the sport of soccer. Furthermore, we
strive to
include players in the program who show an aptitude for positive contributions
and character development as well as
players with technical skills.
through active teaching and organized practices, we strive to provide a positive
team
experience and develop a love for the game of soccer for all players.
