Glens Falls got a win in the first game of the year, outlasting Lake George
4-3. Aaron Kanofsky scored on an empty net off a pass from Carl Sopczyk
midway through the first half to tie the game at 1. LG would score a second
before Carl Sopczyk got a goal of his own. Nate Spilman put the Indians in
the lead going into the half with a bomb from the top of the box. The second
half saw LG tie the game at 3 early on and then Scott Semmel put away a PK
for the win after Sopczyk was brought down in the box. |

from Nate Spilman and Scott Semmel in the first half and two by Carl Sopczyk
in the second but needed one more from Aaron Kanofsky to get the win against
a very fast Fort Ann team. With the win the Indians claimed the JV
championship of the tournament. |

Glens Falls outplayed
CBA for the second straight year to win their first away contest of the
year. The Indians held the majority of possession and were constantly
threatening to score. CBA played with nine players in the box to keep the
game close but they couldn't keep Nate Spilman from scoring from long
distance in the first half. CBA would tie the game in the second on an ugly
defensive sequence only to give up a goal to Carl Sopczyk, who received a
great through pass from Won-Suh Nordquist. Spilman would score from outside
the box again to finish the scoring and give the Indians a 3-0 record
leading into league play. |

their first loss of the season giving up two goals in the second half to
Broadalbin. The Indians missed a chance to tie the game late in the second
half when they were unable to convert a penalty kick. Ryan Montgomery made
eight saves in the game. |

Glens Falls beat Scotia
for the first time in over ten years on a great first half team
performance. Nate Spilman scored twice, once from the pk spot, and the
Indians got goals from Aaron Kanofsky and Scott Semmel to take a 4-1 lead
into the half. Scotia were able to pull two back in the second half but it
wasn't enough, giving the Indians a 1-1 league record (4-1 overall) |

soundly by a good Spartans team. The Indians didn't help themselves any
with poor passing and a noticeable lack of energy. Queensbury had the lead
at the half and added to their score early in the second. Aaron Kanofsky
would tally late only to have Queensbury answer with more goals. Mike
Kowalski had a strong game in Defense for the Indians adding an assist on
the goal. |

a sudden victory goal half way through the second overtime to send Glens
Falls to their second consecutive loss. The Indians played a fantastic game
but were unable to convert on the many good chances they created. Nate
Spilman opened the scoring in the first half. Ryan Montgomery practically
stood on his head making some really pretty saves to keep the game close. |

into the win column in convincing fashion with a 13-0 win against the
Tigers. Matt Parsons lead the way in his first game of the season with 5
Goals and 4 assists. Welcome back Matt! The Indians also got tallies from
Jake Jacobs (2), Aaron Kanofsky (2), Christian Conklin, Paul Pearl, Scott
Semmel and Carl Sopczyk. |
