The Indians controlled this game from
the opening whistle. Carl Sopczyk opened the scoring off a long pass from
defender Jake Zanoni about ten minutes in. A few minutes later Christian
Conklin took a feed from Sopczyk and calmly slotted the ball past the
G'ville keeper. With about ten minutes to go in the half Kyle McMurtry
buried the third and final goal off a pass from Kyle Shovan. Ryan
Montgomery made 4 saves in the game to keep the shutout. Good start GF! |

their second game running on a second half goal by Carl Sopczyk. Nate
Spilman took the ball straight up the middle of the field and fed Sopczyk in
stride on the left where he calmly buried the ball in the far side netting.
Thuong Nguyen had a fantastic game in the middle of the field. Ryan
Montgomery made 5 saves in each half to preserve the shutout. |

Christian
Conklin bookended goals by Carl Sopczyk, Kyle McMurtry, Nate Spilman, and
Sam Butz to lead the Indians to their third consecutive victory. Jake
Jacobs, Thuong Nguyen, and Taylor Delsignore each registered assists. Ryan
Montgomery was only forced into 3 saves in preserving his third straight
clean sheet. |

The Indians
came away with a hard fought win against Queensbury, riding a second half
goal by Christian Conklin and some spectacular goalkeeping by Ryan
Montgomery to the final whistle. Nate Spilman hit Conklin in stride on a
second half corner kick, and Conklin hit it hard to put GF up. Montgomery
had a relatively easy first half, but the second was a whole different story
as Queensbury threw everybody forward. The sophomore keeper made seven saves
in the half several on point blank shots. Thuong Nguyen and Taylor
Delsignore had strong games in the midfield. Jake Zanoni made a goal mouth
block in the second half in a great defensive effort. An all around great
game from everyone. |

Glens Falls fell for the first time this
season to a fast and talented Broadalbin team. The patriots scored on a PK
in the first half . Glens Falls found the net in the second when Steven
Feeney tapped the ball across the goal mouth to a waiting Christian Conklin
who buried it to even the score. BP would score two more in the second to
put the game away. Ryan Montgomery made 11 saves in the game while giving
up the first goals of the season. |

GF got back top their winning ways with
an easy win over the Tigers. Jake Jacobs would score the only goal of the
first half off a feed from Thuong Nguyen. The second half saw Kyle
McMurtry
score twice while Carl Sopczyk, Ryan Montgomery and Christian Conklin would
each put one in. Nate Spilman picked up 4 assists and Nguyen picked up a
second. Gabe Alagna made one save to preserve the shutout. |

The Indians won their sixth of the
season at Scotia with a little luck and some strong goalkeeping. Scotia had
the first good chance to score on a Penalty kick midway through the first
half. GF keeper Ryan Montgomery guessed wrong but was saved by the left
post. Indian Carl Sopczyk opened the scoring in the first half after
receiving a pass from Nate Spilman at the top of the box and placing a low
shot in the far right side netting. After the half the Tartans stepped up
the offensive pressure but the GF defense stood strong. Montgomery finished
with 11 saves for the game and added an assist on a goal by Sam Butz half
way through the second period. Jake Jacobs finished the scoring, finishing
off a Christian Conklin pass. |

The Indians won
a tight match against the Bulldogs of South Glens Falls, getting two first
half goals from Carl Sopczyk to seal the win. GF struck first when Sopczyk
hit a corner from Nate Spilman first time, placing it hard under the keeper.
SGF would even the score a few minutes later on a high through pass that the
forward did well to get to and finish. Only minutes from half time Christian
Conklin sent a long diagonal ball over the top of the SGF defense to a
streaking Sopczyk, who calmly collected the ball, took a touch and laced it
into the upper reaches of the net from the top of the box. The second half
saw numerous missed chances by both teams but no more goals mostly due to
some outstanding goalkeeping by Ryan Montgomery for GF. |

Falls came away with win after scoring the golden goal in the twelfth minute
of OT against a hard fighting Dragon team. G'ville struck first late in the
first half when they were awarded a PK for a hard tackle in the box. With a
little more than twenty minutes to go in regulation Kyle McMurtry found the
net for the Indians after running onto a through ball from Carl Sopczyk to
make the score even. Glens Falls pushed for the winner the rest of the way
but weren't able to find the net until a corner kick in the second OT by
Nate Spilman found the head of Carl Sopczyk and then the goal. Ryan
Montgomery made 5 saves in the win. Thuong Nguyen and Steven Feeney had
strong games in midfield for GF. |

Kyle McMurtry and Jake Jacobs to take the win against Johnstown. J'Town
scored first when a lack of communication in the Indians back line left an
attacker all alone with the ball in front of the net to easily slot the ball
home. McMurtry would tie it up early in the second half after collecting a
loose ball and finishing well. McMurtry would pick up an assist a little
later when he passed a hard ball across the box to a streaking Jacobs, who
calmly hit the ball off the far post for the winner. |

The Indians suffered their second
loss of the season in a hard fought game, giving up two goals in each half
on some shaky defensive play and sharp finishing. The GF defense seemed a
little out of sorts and the Spartans made them pay by banging home the
opportunities they were given. Jake Jacobs and Spencer Bray each scored in
the first half for GF. Kyle McMurtry had the assist on the Jacobs goal.

Broadalbin-Perth scored three goals in
the first half to finish off the Indians early. For the second game in a
row spotty defense led to a multitude odf easy chances for the other team
and the patriots showed they know how to finish. Nate Spilman scored in the
first half for glens Falls off of a free kick, calmly blasting the ball into
the net from twenty yards out. The patriots added two more in the second
half while the Indians struggled to create chances. Ryan Motgomery made
several outstanding saves in the game. |

scored at will while visiting the Tigers to claim their tenth win of the
season. Eight players scored in the first half and seven more in the second.
Spencer Bray and Gabe Alagna split the Shutout for the Indians in goal. |

Glens Falls scored one goal in each half
and played shutout defense to beat the Tartans at home. Christian Conklin
drove home a flick from Jake Jacobs in the first half to put the Indians on
the board. In the second half Ryan Montgomery punted the ball long into
Scotia's half where Jacobs ran onto it, rounded a defender before getting
the keeper to commit, and calmly placed the ball in the net for the
insurance goal. Montgomery had 9 saves in goal. Thuong Nguyen had a great
game despite picking up a dubious card early in the game. |

Carl Sopczyk tallied twice in the first
half to lead the Indians to a win against the SGF Bulldogs. Christian
Conklin played a great cross early in the half that Sopczyk placed into the
back of the bet with his head. Midway through the half it was Joe Nichols
who would provide the service as he deftly slid the ball into Sopczyk's path
for him to blast a shot past the SGF keeper. The Indians played well all
over the field and only allowed a handful of chances to the visitors. Ryan
Montgomery collected his seventh shutout of the season, the teams ninth. |
